I'm making a film during the summer for an ammeter competition, we have very little or no budget. Ideas so are...

* Striaights of death- two gold thieves find themselves murooned in the Berkshire country side with road blocks and police at every train and ports. How can they get to their prepared safe house in Scotland and ferry to their Norweigen bankers, then it hits them....Canal boat. It will take nerves of steel the bridge the horrors of English country side. A ripping tale with "hillarious" consquences. Might be too expensive.

Anyother ideas..less cliched ones?

you could do a documentary on something, they are pretty cheap to make, but require a lot of research and leg work.

Comedys are harder to make than other genres of movies. Horror movies are cheaply done, and so are the "coming of age" type chick flick.

I would try to think about what you are interested in and build a script off of that. ;)

I have a screen play, but it would cost you a lot to use it, since I am trying to sell it.

I have an idle dream about turning various Terry Pratchett "discworld" fantasy novels into films, but the cgi required would be very, very far beyond amatuer production budget levels.

I tried to get the guys to make an anti Lib-Dem documentary but hey they said no. Maybe just one citical for the running of my home town would do. IT would certainly be cheap.
