What dwelling do you live in?

I live in a rented Bungalow

With 2 bedrooms, 1 large bathroom, hall, reasonable sized kitchen, and a large living room, 3 cupboards, one has water tank in it, the other an upright freezer, other cuboard has the electric trip switches, junk, fiber optic Christmas tree, vacum cleaner, ironing board and a bike that we are going to sell.

My cave is of the nicer sort, as I am one of the five Great Monks of our village. Of course it only has 2 rooms, but I do have quite a nice stream going through it. I'd tell you where it is, but my Monken village is quite secret and I would be demoted to PooPoo Monk if I told you.

I live in a detached thing in the inner suburbs. When it was built it wasn't the inner suburbs, it was the rural-urban fringe. then the ***ing council went and built a concil estate right next to us. We get some right piles of crap around here now. But they all look up to us because our property is about 4 times the size of theirs and we're the only detached house around here. :D It has 3 bedrooms a lounge (it used to have 2 but we had to knock the other one down because it was sinking), 2 bathrooms (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) and the garden is just under an acre i would approximate. and then it has other stuff too... like a garage and a kitchen...

a semi detached... which is basically one detached split in two fir all that don't know. it isn't a townhouse.

first floor is one bedroom, one bar, one big living room, one bathroom, and a laundry room.

second is three bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, and a dining room that opens into a living room.

and fair sized front and back lawns.

basically, more than enough space for the five people that live here.

Sometimes, when a new baby is born, we will kill a pig and drown the baby in the pig's blood. After it is temporarily out of air, we will pull it out and put a rabbits bootucks to its face, the rabbit will fart and give air to the baby. Then we will throw the baby off the Eastern cliff and clean it in the waters of the ocean. We will then proceed to go out and recover the baby, if it is still bouyant.

I live in a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath split level that we can really only barely afford at the moment, but that's what we get for buying it. The tiny 1 bedroom apartment was just too small for both adults and a baby, though, and we HAD to find someplace else to be. And I am so jealous of those gorgeous conservatories.

A semi-detatched house is called a twin in the states. We have a LOT more detatched houses here, though. That's the norm here - most row houses, and twins are lower-class type housing, although certianly not all. I think it is because we have just a lot more space to fill up.

Apparently I was a bit indelicate in my wording. I wasn't trying to imply you were a stalker or any such thing. I was wondering if you were working on a project of some kind (which would be cool) or just curious (which is cool as well).

Anyway, my apartment building is wierd because its only 1 story. I managed to not be in one of the excessively large student apartment buildings in town. I have one bedroom, one bathroom, one kitched, and one living room, which is handy because there's only one of me.

Although I'm worried because we don't have any snow, nor have we for over a week or so. Usually this is when winter is just getting into its stride and we have over a foot of snow. But it hasn't even been getting under freezing at night, which leads me to believe that the end is nigh.

I think the P.C. word in U.S. is "public housing" but once you've visited them, they are "the projects"

I lived in them for a few months with my ex girlfriend. Got shot at. Moved out. Never again.

Living in a little 2 room apartment right now. My financial advisor has advised me that since I'm not going to be staying long, buying a house isn't the safest investment at the moment.

But the mutual funds are doing well, so I'm looking to build in 3-5 years.

All I need are 3 things. Finished basement for home theater. Huge garage. Huge kitchen. The rest is up to the wife.

Still living at home. I'll move out this summer though.

My parents' house is a 6,000 sq ft, 3-storey (plus attic and basement), 75 year old building. It has 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 half-baths, entrance hall, living room, den, music room, dining room, playroom, servant's passage plus tons more. All hardwood flooring except for the den. Two fireplaces. The basement of the house used to be a police station back in '50s, so there are still old authentic prison cell doors down there, complete with keys and everything lol

I'd do the same, because I've put a lot of sweat into my houses, but I don't know if its acceptable. I cannot sense sarcasim, or anything here. Soem people really like their house!

So, the smallest house that we own, and live in most of the time right now, is a one level, ranch, full unfinished basement. 2000 square feet living space. But that is in America right now, and here the house I'm currently dwelling in is a huge farm house. I don't want to guess square feet, let alone meters.

That sounds nice
