Try listening to Ween. They do a lot of songs about subjects that no-one else would touch with a barge pole. That's part of the reason I love 'em.

King Missile - Detachable Penis. They had another song about Martin Scorsese that was an absolute riot. Told in the first person who loves Scorsese's movies soooooo much that if he ever met him, he'd mutilate him (and this in a very descriptive fashion) so that he could show how much he loved his work. Classic.
