has anyone here went out with some one who was deaf or hearing impaired? I ask because I myself am hearing impaired: i wear hearing aids.

Also, sometimes I think that i'm still single because no girl wants to go out with a deaf guy :( (but that's just me)

being deaf doesn't matter. maybe you're too self-conscious about it. just be yourself and someone will be drawn to you, who you are. quit worrying about it. we all have something to get over. so get over it already. ;)

As a straight male,I'll say that,honestly,it doesn't really matter.But I personally think men are much less picky sometimes:rolleyes:

Anyways,Are they overly huge hearing aids?That could be the problem.Glasses and such were,and a still are a bit,reduce one's attractiveness significantly,or mabye just slightly,depending on the indivisual.Espically if they are big glasses.

But don't despair,friend.I'm sure you'll meet someone.:fluffle: soon hopefully,eh?

It doesn't matter if you're hearing impaired. All of us guys are. All you need to do is move your head and make sympathetic noises from time to time and that's it.

Or you can use it as a great pick up line: "I know all the other guys never listen to you, at least I have a good excuse."

I think my hearing aids blend in nicely. :)

not gone out with any deaf girls, been with two disabled ones tho and TBH phyisical things are irrealvant if the personality is good.

i'd date a girl who had to wear a hearing aid, as long as i could understand them/their speech (and thats largely just cos i don't know sign language)
