I figured that there are a lot of rather lonely people here on NS. I also figured that many seem to get along brilliantly, be that while arguing about politics or just while wisecracking about nothing at all.
So, I wondered why nobody has yet tried to set up a nice and shady little corner in the dazzling world that is the NS General Forum in order to bring all those lonely people together and stop the misery.

That thread was a load of shit. It paints women as far worse than they are, and generally has a whole load of ridiculous stereotypes and generalisations. If you want to find someone and be happy with them, the only definitive advice is to get to know people you're interested in and, when you find someone, work at doing whatever it takes to make that particular relationship successful. Treat people as individuals.

I am a 21 year old college student. I am studying to become a community college teacher. I hope to teach US History, 20th Cent. History, and US politics. I have one dog, an 8 year old Golden Retriever. I used to have a cat, but she passed away on July the 4th in 2005. I love to fly, I am a pilot and I just love to fly. I also like camping, hiking, walking, going to the mountains, basically anything outdoors. I am hard working, I am honest, and I am a devoult Roman Catholic. So-she and her friend will have a three hour treatment together and some lunch and relax and bs for a while.
