Jealous of your clone?

Say you had an exact clone of yourself. Exact personality, age, ideas, morals (or lack of :p), etc.
You let this clone to go live on its own. Would you become jealous of yourself (your clone) if it started to do better in life than you did? Like, got a better job, had a better lifestyle, etc?
Better yet, if you let your clone stay with you, and your signifigant other started to pay more attention to the clone you, would you get jealous?

What would you do about your clone problems?

I would take my clone out back behind the barn and shoot it.

I'd lure it away with chocolate. It's like catnip for clones....

I would make more clones. In fact, I would turn them out on an assembly line, arm them, and use them to conquer the galaxy.

Hmm. That's an interesting question. I'd raise up the question on how it did better than me in the first place, assuming it's exactly like me in every way. Therefore, it would never end since it would respond like me.

this "clone" would be forced to do all the things I kinda want to do but won't for some reason or another, I would then learn from his mistakes and triumphs, and properly dispose of him

I'd pull a bank heist and blame my clone or forge my clones signature to buy various goods

No, I think you're thinking of the Wicked Witch. Clones, ideally speaking, should be less greenish.

I think the only real reason I'd be jealous of my clone is if she had a better hairstyle than I. And if that's the case, the bitch is going down.

Out of curiosity, does this apply to twins as well....? Y'know, same genentic code....just wondering how much squidge-room we have in the technicality.

Hell no! Finally some real competition! :D

There is no way my clone could do "better" in life than me, or at least do anything I would be jealous of, I am quite happy with my life now.

If my spouse started paying attention to my clone that I felt was inappropriate, then he would be in for a beating, and my clone might not be seen around again if you catch my drift.;)

Well at least if this happened then the phrase "go fuck yourself" can be taken literally. Hey, how would this be different from masturbating?:p

Because while it would be self-lovin', it would have that spicy kick of homo-eroticism.....THAT'S how it would differ.

However, I don't think I could do that with myself. I know all to well how picky I can be. :D

Hmm... an interesting question.

I'd say that if my clone was more successful than myself, I would have to seriously re-evaluate my own choices...

...Then I'd dispose of my clone and take his place. It's only fair.

I'd get off my lazy butt and get an less motivated clone, or clone my signficant other, so we can have a proper orgy.

It wouldn't happen. My clone would be as lazy as me, probably spending most of its time looking at porno, playing computer games and getting drunk.

EDIT- Although if my clone DID prove to be more successful than I, and ended up dating a supermodel, etc...it should be a simple matter to switch places. ;)

I'd be so sad :( but.. maybe the challenge would cause me to rise to the occasion and live up to my potential. :)

probably about the same for me, though we'd probably also go around doing incredibly evil stuff while drunk, like going around asking for christian babies to use in sadistic rituals while dressed as rabbis :p
