Mine was to give up smoking. The problem is I was smoking at time... Anyone have any more actual resolve?

I always have as my new year's resolution is to give up smoking.
As I've never smoked, it's always an easy one to fulfill.
I like giving myself easy challenges.
:)
Other ones I have this year are to exercise more (should be achievable as I just bought myself a rowing machine), pay off my student loan (should be achievable if I stick to my budget) and do more travelling. Specifically I want to go to Italy, Switzeland (I have an Aunt and Uncle there) and France during the Summer hols. I started by putting $2500US into a long-term savings account last August and I put $700US each month into it. So come July, I should have enough to have a decent time over there.

I'm a Nihilist so the new year doesn't exist.

Boooo! Jobs suck ass. You have to pay taxes and super. Plus it takes away valuable drinking time...

When I get back to school, my girlfriend is putting my on a schedule of smoking so I can quit completely within the next two packs. Hopefully that will work the way it is intended to.

New years resolutions are for pansies. I'm fucking perfect.
Besides, they're the kind of short-sighted goal that everyone forgets about within 6-8 weeks at most, depending on how much you invest in it. We've already seen what's happened to most "quit smoking" resolutions, and I'd guess people who put down their jingly to get a Bowflex or somesuch would actually keep up with theirs a little longer, but really the whole excersize has always struck me as a sort of self-help masturbation. I don't think I've ever bothered with a New Year's resolution in my entire life.

I resolved to loose about 200 ugly pounds...
I should be able to do that as soon as the divorce is final.

For an arbitrary and superficial circumstance to be the impetus for my change, i feel that i'm only obliged as far in the same nature.
I'm fluffling people who, in my esteem, meet the criterion as such.

I have two resolutions:
1] Spend more time outdoors. I've been slacking lately and, surprisingly, it's not NS's fault. :D
2] Be a better Muslim.
I imagine I'll keep them.
