Wow he really looked bad. He sounded bad too. It was amazing he did it this year, but he really should think about retiring after that stroke.

I hate to admit this, but I almost laughed when it made me think of the "Simpons" character who says "YESSSSSSSSS". and then said the reason is that "I had a Strooooooooooooooooke."

For a dude that just had a stroke, I'm suprised how well he sounded.

I'm sorry. But his name makes me giggle like a little girl...

Whenever I hear 'Dick Clark' I always think of the first episode of Futurama.

"Hi. I'm Dick Clark, 's head."

I'm glad he made it -- and next year, he'll be better.

The man had to relearn how to walk and talk, for pity's sake -- and he's no kid. My mom was a teen when he first started hosting American Bandstand.

haha that guy's so creepy
and I'm surprised at how well he sounded after a stroke, it was odd, but he had a stroke so it's understandable
I do think he should consider retiring though

It was just painful to watch- he's still got the same body, but his brain is now showing every bit of his age. My group had to switch over to FOX for our New Year's (we're in the Central Time Zone) because we couldn't bear to watch it again.

It's hard to retire from something you've been doing for most of your life, and that you love doing.

Well I'm 21, so I really can't tell you much about it lol. All I know is that when my grandpa had to retire, he did not like it. He loved working at his garage, but he was just getting to old, and he needed to be home taking care of my grandma. Beside, he, like me, hated the idea of living on Welfare. I guess that where I got that from.
