*Stumbles into the house.*

Woohoo! Made it home, safe and sound. Well, as sound as three bottles of wine and five Blue Moons can be. Good thing I didn't drive. So, what's up NS General?

How's about a good question for tonight- what are/have you been drinking for the new year?

And how about everyone give a prediction or two.

I predict-
1. That George W will say something that makes us think he is even MORE stupid then we thought.
2. That Christians in a predominantly Christian nation will think that they are being persecuted.
3. Arab Muslim extremists will kill innocent people, yet go uncondemned by the general muslim public.
4. and finally, that X-mas decorations will go up tomorrow, because, hey, there are only 357 days until X-mas.

Eh...girlfriend's tired...it's been a long night...heh...

So I'm stuck here. Anyhow...

I've been drinking some bubbly (spl?) and took a shot of vodka for good measure. I'm not drunk but definately buzzed.

Predictions...ah fuck it...I'm just gonna breeze around the forums...

Yep, after 19 hours of 'new year" have passed here I can tell you that 2006 looks surprisingly similar to 2005.
Guess if something is going to change, WE will have to change first. [/PHILOSOPHY]

That's the only thing it is - which is perfectly justified. I had some tasty kahlua+milk tonight, so that made me happy. Also, observing the goings-on downtown while not drunk is pretty interesting in a voyeuristic kind of way.

anyway, everyone have a great future year!

Well, mine was good but once again I drunk far too much. Me and some friends (including a lovely woman I met a couple of weeks ago and had accepted my invitation to accompany us this night) went to a bar that was $60US to get in but free drinks all night. And that was all drinks, including cocktails. So I made it my mission to get my money's worth.
Damn thee liver! Thou are evil and must be punished!
Bumped into a mate I hadn't seen since July just before he moved to Singapore (he was back over here for just a couple of days), so that was a happy coincidence.
From midnight to the time we left I spent most of the time snogging the afore-mentioned lovely woman. :p
Left at 4am this morning, escorted my snog-partner to the taxi (sadly, she had to get home for a big family get-together today), crashed at a mate's place and didn't get up until 3pm. Coffee and some of Ronald's finest cooking helped placate the evil hangover gnomes.
All-in-all, a damn good night.
