What Country would you want to live in if you had the chance to move from your Country?
Antikythera

all of them:D
Somewhere with few natural disasters, some wide open spaces, not too much crime, a decent standard of living, hot chicks, access to oceans, mountains, plains and rainforests. No thanks. I'll stay in Canada. It's got all I want.

holland is fantastic. i've been twice (once to amsterdam and once staying in utrecht) and its lovely in every way. beautiful architecture, liberal and open people, friendly, good weather, very flat (great for cycling), clean, good public transport and quiet, and just all-round great :)
the coffeeshops are just an added bonus :P

Seconded. I grab every opportunity to get there I can, and since my sister lives there...
You added Sweden. That's the first time someone ever done that! Thank you!!!

Not really a country but I'd move to Mars, 'cause there are no people there. Tax is low too, so I hear.

Well, I'd first go back to Germany.
Then later...I don't really have any preferences. If I can get a nice job in a place with a nice climate and no political oppression, I'll be fine.
I'd give Western Canada a go though. I like the pictures.

Eastern Canada (besides Quebec) is teh suck. BC is where it is at. In this case it refers to Stephen Colbert, yet again.

Besides, Montreal is good enough to make up for the rest of Quebec. Plus they are french.http://n3uk.com/forum/forumImages/emoticon/thumbs_up.gif

Nobody come to South Australia. Despite our beautiful Adelaide Hills, the weather is well and truly stuffed. Yesterday it was 35 centigrade, the day before was something like 40-42C, and today it's 19C with rain. Don't come to Adelaide!
I'd live in Switzerland. Cool weather, nice mountains, strong economy, small population. It's the perfect country for me.

Scotland, Sweden or Finland.
I've heard nice things about all three of these countries, all have great beauty from the pics and documentries I seen on them, and all have a proper, real winter with snow, unlike us sweating saps in Queensland.

I said "other", as it's a tie between Canada and the USA.
i know you can only put so many options in a poll but i would have definately included canada and new zealand. since i like trees, mountains, trains and little furry creatures with big sharp teeth, well switzerland and sweaden are ok too. i would have put canada and new zealand INSTEAD of the u.s. and u.k. i'd love to live somewhere i could feel good about, which the u.s. where i do live isn't. the only thing good about it is being inside the tent it's pissing out of instead of one it's outside of pissing in. but that's nothing to brag about and i'm not sure even how safe that's gonna be or for how long. then again there's always the possibility of chainge for the better too.

The US would be by far the last country where I would want to live
I've heard good things about Sweden, so I'd like to take a look if I ever get the opportunity. A short trip to the UK would be interesting as well, but I dunno if I wanted to live there.
Italy is very nice, always going there for holidays.
Finally, I've always wanted to go to Japan, and could well imagine living there as well :)

As appealing as Sweden is (Hot blondes called Helga, Yum (Sorry for that sweeping generalisation)), I'm going to have to go with Switzerland. As mentioned before, it has a strong economy, cool mountains, nice weather, an Uber macho language, small population, Very Accurate watches, A high national IQ, Good chocolate and most importantly of all, Neutrality.
Why have only two people plumped for Spain? You get a fantastic climate, beautiful scenery, plenty of regional variation, an incredibly rich cultural heritage, wide open spaces and an easy-to-learn but beautiful language.
Not to mention the Spanish people :)

I know a guy who just got back from taking half a year in Spain, it was so he coud learn some things but mostly Spainish and get some other points in Culture, architecture, and some of those easy classes.

Ireland? Why would you want to live there? Seriously it's not all it's cracked up to be. Those films give a very...quaint atmosphere. It's behind all the western European Countries and it's a rip off. Makes no sense, really.
By the way why isn't there a 'I'm perfectly happy where I am' option?
Yes it does. Greenland has internal autonomy, but is still a Danish dependency.
That's just what we want you to think....All Greenland's base are belong to Canada.

The films are old. It's no longer like that. It's now one of the richest European countries. And only Dublin is a rip off. On the positive side it has lots of excellent scenery, a vibrant music scene, beautiful beers and lots of sexy women. Many find the Irish accent to be quiet a turn on as well. Ireland usually wins the poll of happiest people as well.
By the way why isn't there a 'I'm perfectly happy where I am' option?
Because the thread is about which other country would you live in, and that kind of option would lead to lots of nationalistic dick-waving.

I voted for the U.S, which is where, in fact, i do live. I will leave California, which is one of the very worst states to live in as far as stupid politics and high cost of living. But, I love the U.S.; We have more freedoms than most other countries and we have a better standard of living than most other countries. I know that sounds arrogant, but there it is.
