A Flash puzzle game
Machines : The Bell Ringer
It's what I've been doing with my Christmas holiday - when not watching DVDs and over-eating that is.

Well, I exhausted that in all of twenty seconds. Right on the first try.
And you say you've been spending a disproportionate amount of time on this?
Well there's only a possible maximum 120 combinations of the control button presses (assuming people remember what they've tried before of course, otherwise it's over 3000 I think) - and there's several different outcomes that you get depending how much of the combination you've got right.
Originally I had another button on there as well, but I reasoned 720 combinations would be a bit too many and people would get bored. The game isn't designed to keep people occupied for hours, it's meant to be a 10 minute distraction. It's always going to be possible to get it right on such games first time round, but changes are you wont.

Right, so you spent a lot of time making it rather than playing it. I won after a few minutes of trying.

I figured it out once, and now I can't remember anything other than the first button. I'd spend more time trying to figure it out again, but I have to go to work. :p

Good good :)
It's meant to be more of an interactive animation rather than a game, I don't want people to get stuck on it - rather than watch the various outcomes. If I do a follow up I'll give people more things to do.
I've done an update to the rules, so hopefully they'll make more sense now :)

How much happens increases with how much of the start of the activation sequence is corrcet, so you can first find the first button, then the second, then the third, and then the fourth and fifth.
Yeah your right Damor
Plus you explanation of it makes more sense than mine :)

Too many spinny things? There aren't any on the machine - unless you mean the thing in the middle that takes the ball to drop it on the bell lever bit?
