Samurai Jack
I believe that everyone here that has seen Samurai Jack agrees that it is the greatest cartoon of all time (and if you don't, TFB). My question is where the hell did it go? Cartoon Network made, what, TWO seasons of it. Shouldn't they bring it back?

It got scrapped because it was ordinary, boring crap. It lacked the surreal craziness of Ren and Stimpy, the laughs of Simpsons or Family Guy, and the compellingly odd story line of Invader Zim.

Samurai Jack < Any Action Anime
Samurai Jack didn't have much plot substance going for it. The special episode where he lost his memory was SJ's death throes, reaching for ratings. It couldn't reach enough people to survive.
DBZ is the best cartoon ever and Cartoon Network should bring THAT back so I can see the whole series.
It still plays reruns on Cartoon Network
WHEN?!! i haven't seen it in almost a year. and it ISN'T anime. Anime sucks and is a style of japanese animation.

I haven't seen DBGT but I have heard that is sucks. Last episode I saw Goku was going to be fighting Frieza and then they stopped and started showing a Yu-Gi-Oh! series instead. How can anyone think that show is better then DBZ? It is foolish.

If you were at all familiar with stylized animation, and the imagery that's usually particular to each different genre, you'd realize how absolutely ridiculous a statement this is. First off, yes, EVERYBODY knows that "anime" generally means japanese animation. Second, and you may not realize this if you're just one of thsoe casual cartoon-liking kids, but one of the main goals of Samurai Jack was to copy a lot of the Anime style and imagery into an Americanized sort of package.
Ergo, to say that anime sucks, you're kinda slamming your own "favourite" cartoon. Which is actually understandable, because it really wasn't even that good anyway.
