Well, I personally take the chance to talk to my girlfriend. But there isn't one reason, really. As we're both under the age of consent, there won't be any going-to-bed-with nonsense, but kissing is always better after doing something together, and we can do all that touchy-feely stuff elsewhere (provided there aren't any parents around). But there again, my relationship isn't exactly a normal one.

i say you go on a date to get to know someone alot better, and well generally to have fun and see what makes the other person tick.

Having an interesting conversation that may indicate if a relationship is viable and wanted by both parts :)

i don't know what the divorce rate is but there are a lot of young married couples. young as in like between 20 and 25. anyone older than that are looked down on by most because they arn't married

Dude, those laws are never enforced against couples that are the same age even if underage. (I'm assuming you're not going out with a woman twice your age here.)

if a guy is making the effort to take you out then you make the effort to look good for him, plus a new outfit can do wonders for your confidence and self-esteem and that's always good on a date

I''ll believe the last bit but buying a brand new oufit everytime that's just crazy talk.

Good date getting to know them, better date getting to kiss and touch someone, best date making them breakfast in bed.

Getting to know someone enough to know whether or not you'll want to get them in bed at some point, even if it is later that evening. Anything else is a farce.
