Is Neil Cavuto's internet poll person hanging around here?

Because I swear, I've seen this quality of poll before.

Now I know--this is an internet poll, not scientifically valid and taken seriously by about three people, all of whom still live in their mother's basement and eat oreos by the case. Also, I know that Cavuto's show is not technically news, but is rather opinion, and so is not held to the same journalistic standards we might expect from such a fine, upstanding bastion of balance as Fox News [/snark].

But come on. There's ridiculous, and then there's this.

Nazz, you watch too much O'Reilly and read too much Fox News.

Believe me, it will addle your brain.

I've told you before--I don't have cable, I don't have satellite, I don't watch Fox News. Why can't you get that through your thick skull? Is it all those years of listening to Limbaugh? Has it built up a calcite-like shield that deflects anything that a liberal has to say?

All I have to do is count the number of posts where you cite O'Reilly or Fox, and the number of posts where I do.

So far, I have never cited them. You seem to do it quite a bit.

Ah--but cannot one get information about Fox without ever actually viewing their programming? I assure you, it can be done. Plus, this particular example came from the website, not the tv program.

I don't even read their website. Nazz, I'd rather read 3000 comic books in a single sitting.

the husband has a tendency to put lou dobbs (cnn) on at 4 in the afternoon.

after a little while he'll come out of his office ranting about how stupid dobbs is and how stupid his poll was and how many stupid people there are in the world who would vote in such a stupid poll.

ive tried to forbid him from watching it, but so far it hasnt done any good.

My pet theory is that the majority of Fox News watchers are really Democrats who watch in order to keep their blood pressure up.

As an aside, I lurk on Democratic Underground forums, and the common theme there every day is "did you hear what they just said on Fox?"

i dont know why people would want high blood pressure but it sure does raise it

the only time ive watched it for more than the 1 second it take to turn off the channel was at the car dealership. one time was before the election and their anti-kerry bias was so thick i was glad to be the only one in the room so no converstation would be struck up that might cause me to rant

the other time, the room had several people waiting for their cars to be serviced. the tv had foxnews on again. a woman broke out into a spontaneous anti-bush rant to no one in particular (she hadnt been talking to anyone, she just lost it and started ranting)
