I disappeared for about a month, and got autobanned for inactivity, it would appear (hence the new account name and diminished postcount). I've come back now. If you remember me... hi. Hopefully productive posting will resume shortly...though likely on somebody else's thread until I get my bearings around here again.

It's good to be back.

Welcome back!

Why not begin by posting a bit about yourself so we can recall you in our collective hive-mind? :D

Eh.. sure.

Feil...

Feil is a centrist in his country, which happens to be America. This, of course, would make him a conservative just about anywhere else. He believes in the superiority of free-market capitolism with a moderate dose of welfare capitolism mixed in, and a dash or two of Keynes. Feil thinks the US Constitution is a very nice document, and is especially fond of separation of powers and the Bill of Rights.

Feil considders himself to be fairly intelligent and well informed, and is probably right. (This is, of course, a very unbiased report. Feil is also strikingly handsome and very amiable, though from time to time prone to writing in the third person.) Feil believes in the value of logic and critical thinking, and employs them when debating on Nationstates.

Feil on common nationstates topics...
Q: "Yada yada Abortion yada yada":
A: Abortion is only acceptable if the fetus is not yet an independant human being. This probably means 'has brain activity'.

Q: "How much should the government regulate guns?"
A: Depends on the country, but in general, an armed, law-abiding populace is better than an un-armed, law-abiding populace. If you don't have a law abiding populace, regulate the guns as much as you want. If you do, John Doe can reach his glock a whole lot faster than Officer Bob can reach the crime scene.

(Of course, if, like Whispering Leggs, "your wife used to be a sheep, and now she has bear arms, [...] I'm calling PETA"-somebody, a while ago, about this same place)

Q: Origins
A: Evolution, big bang, and who the hell knows, but probably not some extradimentional devine being, in reverse chronological order.

Q: Supernatural vs Material
A: Material
