Is it true the the Q to the T is directed a WWII movie? [Without CGI, of course, like all his other movies.]

Is directed? You mean is directing? I don't know, but the result would be interesting/different.

Yeah, it's a Dirty Dozen re-make.. no clue when it's due out..

I heard it's planned for ten years of directing, and only started a few years ago apparently.

Inglorious Bastards is the working title.

A bunch of big names have signed on (Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy?). Release date not set yet, but reports are the script runs 6 hours so it could be a split movie like Kill Bill

What about Grind House, that movie he was planning to direct with Rodriguez?

It better be good.

I have not at all been impressed with war movies from the States, for pretty much ever.

EDIT: Apparently the heroes aren't really heroes but criminals who get the choice of either death row or some mission against the Nazis.

Eh, I'm kind of sitting on the fence when it comes to Inglorious Bastards. For one thing, I love and have loved everything Tarantino has had his mits on - Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, both Kill Bills, Jackie Brown, etc. The guy just has incredible talent. But I think his ego may get in the way of his artistic vision - hopefully not, but you never know.

Wait, is Tarantino even done with the Kill Bill series yet?

Hmm could be good then again. When you follow a cast :
Lee Marvin .... Maj. John Reisman
Ernest Borgnine .... Maj. Gen. Worden
Charles Bronson .... Joseph T. Wladislaw
Jim Brown .... Robert T. Jefferson
John Cassavetes .... Victor R. Franko
Richard Jaeckel .... Sgt. Clyde Bowren
George Kennedy .... Maj. Max Armbruster
Trini López .... Pedro Jiminez (as Trini Lopez)
Ralph Meeker .... Capt. Stuart Kinder
Robert Ryan .... Col. Everett Dasher Breed
Telly Savalas .... Archer J. Maggott
Donald Sutherland .... Vernon L. Pinkley

Could be really bad!

For some reason I don't see Eddie Murphy being the hard ass Jim Brown character.

I suspect it will be taken in a different direction.....

Bill kind of got offed. You know, that has to do with...the title of the movie, and all.

Maybe he has an evil twin brother? The plot thickens!

Then the next movie can be called Kill Bill 2 ("too").

Actually Tarantino has plans to do a "Kill Bill Redeux"

He wants to combine both movies into a single theatrical release with an intermission along the lines of "Gone with the Wind".

I have not at all been impressed with war movies from the States, for pretty much ever.As a huge fan of ALL war movies including the non-historically correct ones... could you state a few good and bad examples of both american and non-american movies?

Tarantino is God btw. I can't see him screwing this up.

Inglorious Bastards is the working title.

Inglorious Bastards was an old film from the 70's.

From Wiki: The title is taken from a 1977 movie by the Italian director Enzo G. Castellari called Quel maledetto treno blindato, known in the United States with the title Inglorious Bastards, although Tarantino's film is not thought to be a remake, but more of an homage to that film, as well as The Dirty Dozen and other war movies
