hell no. it *does* play mp3s if you plug a player into it, but its a kids 'musical' instrument which you play by moving its ears, nose, legs etc around

Hmm. I quite fancied How Mumbo Jumbo Conquered The World by Francis Wheen, and a collection of the older Charlie Chaplin films (the very short ones). But I was hardly desperate for them.

Though if I get desperate I can get both fairly cheaply, so no problem.

Don't mind him. Ipods are groovy. There are other groovy brands. I'm not Ipod-centric just because I have one. I still have my old Creative Nomad Jukebox. I have had good experiences with Creative players. *nod*

I have a Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra 40GB. Cheaper than a bloody iPod Nano, and four times the space. Controls can be a little fiddly, but after a few weeks you'll have no problem using it.

I know iPods are good, I have a mini that's broken. I thought I may aswell get an upgrade.

amen for that. last year i was a terminally (and clinically) depressed stoner looser with no future, no hope and no girl... i'd totally given up on "love" or finding "someone", and i hated the happy, smiling people i passed on the street (especially couples) with a burning passion.

now i have a decent job, prospects for the future, plans, and - most importantly - an incredible girlfriend who i love more than anything else in my life :)

so be down now by all means, but don't give up hope *nods*

I wanted four Green Day CDs... welll, actually, I printed out a list of them and wrote PLEASE, PLEASE BUY ME THESE CDS, PLEASE in huge letters on the paper. I received one CD. Then again, my grandparents got me £200 and some gift vouchers, so I can buy them on my own. *is spoilt little princess*
