There are sure some good ones out there. Thanks to Netflix, I can go through a pretty large sampling. There are easily another ten that I could watch at least once a week.
I watched "The Wall" when I was an undergrad. I don't remember what I thought of it then, but the album is still one of my favorites. I tried to watch the movie within the last year or so and I just couldn't finish it. Just too disjointed. On the other hand, I watched "Tommy" for the first time a couple years ago and I thought it was pretty good.

I know what you mean about it being disjointed, first time I saw it I was kinda confused and disappointed. But watch it when you're stoned and the relationship between the music and what you're seeing is amazing, especially on Empty Spaces (animated part, with the bombers, the soldiers turning into crosses, etc.). Not seen Tommy, though I do want to.

Something I've been surprised about this meme so far is that no one has had problems filling in the "four places you've lived" section. I went to school with kids who lived in the same place their entire lives, and when they moved away to college, that made two places. Not so common anymore I guess.

Maybe...I'm 20, and I've only actually moved house once, when I was about 18 months. I don't remember my previous home at all. Though I'd quite like to move back there and settle down.

If I had answered this as a twenty-one year old, I would fit that description exactly. Born, raised, and educated through high school in Galena, Ohio, I hardly left the county until I went to the big city for college. Funny though, without the Marine Corps to order me around, I've not moved since settling in Georgia. That was in 1991.

Fass, you wouldn't survive Southern cooking. My wife quit cooking like this, but my Mother-in-Law still does when we visit.
Breakfast is usually ham, sausage, and/or bacon with plenty of cheese grits and eggs. There are always biscuits that either get smothered in sausage gravy, or dipped in some sort of syrup and butter concoction.
Lunch and Dinner feature some sort of fried entree. Usually fish or chicken. Plenty of canned or fresh vegetables, more biscuits and gravy or cornbread with cracklins. Cracklins are pieces of pig skin. You can either batter and fry them up and make "Pork rinds", or mix them with cornbread.
Add a desert, like cobbler or pie to all this and you have a typical meal.

What was your favorite part of Yosemite? We always camped in Tuolumne Meadows because it was so nice and isolated from the main part of Yosemite.
I used to live near Big Sur, Monterey actually, and we loved to go down there for Sunday brunch. Gorgeous drive along the coast, too.
Ultimately it's the drive in both those places for me. My take on camping has become this:
If I woke up and found a deer sitting in my living room, flipping through my magazines, I'd be pissed and a little freaked out. So since I don't want them just chillin' in my living room any old time they feel like it, I extend the curtisy.
I just never have a good time camping, I understand that a lot of people do so there is no reason for me to ruin thier good time being there bitching.
But the drives all through Northern California. One of these days I'm going to have something like a MG TC or Jaguar E-Type and just widdle away the rest of my days driving NorCal's two lane highways and small towns. Or if I get my bus fixed up enough...

Reminds me of a friend when I was a teenager--her dad had restored this gorgeous late sixties Corvette. Immaculate. The guy had owned a body shop in Dearborn Michigan for years and loved his work. But he was having trouble selling it, and he couldn't figure out why, because the price was beyond fair--it was a steal. Problem was that the wrenchheads who were looking at it wanted something they could restore. So he backed it into a tree, did some minor damage to it, and sold it for five hundred bucks more than what he was asking originally.
