Nothing today, although in the last few weeks I have had a lot (and I really do mean a lot) of stollen. I have a weakness for pretty much anything with marzipan in - I can't get enough of it. Actually, all I've eaten today is two slices of toast, with Marmite. And I'm not hungry...something wrong there.

RASHER BLAAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, most of you won't have an iota of an idea of what I am on about. But, a rasher is a strip of bacon, with a lot more meat. And a blaa is a freshly baked breadroll, you can only get in Waterford Ireland.

Its not really Christmassy, but given the fact that I've had neither for a long time since I moved to the US last year, it's a huge treat!!!

Oh, and my mother's already broken out the Christmas candy, and of course, dipped into the alcohol stash as we wrapped the kids presents last night, wrapping presents and getting drunk while severely jet lagged and staying up till 4am, it can only happen at Christmas!!!

For lunch, I had 3 cookies, a cup of English Black Tea, and 1/2 pound of pasta, with basil, garlic, cilantro, oregano, tomato sauce, four different types of peppercorns and sea salt. For dinner, I had the awesome Christmas dinner with just grilled, Bicentennial Rub-rubbed Salmon, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, all with much Tellicherry Black Peppercorns, much French Grey Sea Salt, and then a salad with Redikio, Escarole and Frisee Lettuces. Dessert: The best Pears ever, and a master-crafted Cappuccino. Ahhhhhh, I love cooking and the rewards it brings.

1/2 lb. bacon (seriously)

mulled cider

It's not like I don't understand. My late mother was put off pork for a spell when she was young because one winter, one of the less-experienced farmhands slaughtered a pig - poorly. Poor little thing ran around bleeding and squealing. Ought never to have happened that way.

Sorry it put you off the goose.

Well, I made a gingerbread loaf yesterday and ate some more of it today. I was watching some news program and I guess they are serving them at Starbucks. It just looked good, so I decided I'd hunt around for a good recipe and tweak it a bit.

It still needs more tweaking though. 1tsp of powdered cloves is way too much for anything.

Well, now it's Christmas day. Another codiene, another Xanax, a few more Rolling rocks, but don't need the vicoden today. Doesn't hurt too bad. ;)

Being disabled and having anxiety sucks ass sometimes, but the benifits ain't too bad! ;)

And just so I don't seem like a hijacking asshole, I had the most delicious Pumpkin roll that my cousins wife brought me. And some Christmas cookies, of course.

Oh, and some REALLY yummy peanutbutter fudge. MMmmmmmmmmmmm

I wish I hadn't eaten all the pumpkin roll though. lol
