Well, the clock states 12:16am so it's Christmas day here in New Zealand, so Merry Christmas to you all.

However, I'm not really at all that excited. It's me and my girlfriends '8 months' today, and shes away with her family so that sucks. I've also had most of my presents already, so not much to look forward to there either.

What about you? How "exciting" will Christmas be for you?

Muh well it's two hours away and i'm drunk already...

I'll probably be hungover and crawl out of bed to eat stuff at 4pm.

Usual weekend.

I went with To Whatever to get into it. I'm stationed on Hawaii, doesn't even FEEL like Christmas. Besides, the only reason Christmas really ever meant anything to me was because it was a time to be with all my family.

Isn't Jesus' birthday anyways.

I'm leaving my drinking for tomorrow. Mum got me alcohol for the first time too, 15 beers. Should be okay.

Christmas eve (Julafton) is bigger here than Christmas day (Juldagen).

I already have my presents, that is. :)

Lol. 15 for a first time? You're set, man! :D

I'm drinking some odd German brew I picked up on a whim. "Schwelmer" or something. It's actually pretty decent. And then I have the better part of a bottle of Jack Daniels for tomorrow.

Sorry about your g/f being away. That sucks.

Old dudes like me get most of our jollies at Christmas by watching how excited the little people get. My grandchildren opened their gifts from the extended family last night, so I suppose I shall be alone Christmas Day, but meh.

Great. In another two hours the entire country is going to be celebrating some two thousand year old wank's birthday. It's the type of thing that just make's me want to drink until I puke. Or die of dehydration. Either one's good for me. In fact, I think I'll do both.

lol. As Fass said, it's global. You can get JD almost anywhere. We can get almost any American brew here (not including microbreweries). If it's not on the shelf, they'll order it.

Merry Christmas to you...still wrapping presents here. 11 1/2 hours. Wow, how exciting.
Not that excited either, my girl's over 100 miles away, no one who gives me presents (except my girlfriend, but I've already had presents from her) shows any imagination, so I can guess what I'm getting. Oh, and as a vegetarian, I'm being made fun of by my family. I just love spending the holidays with them.

Well, on Dec. 22nd my wife flew to Birmingham, AL as her father who is 88 was in the hospital. I called the guests we had invited for Christmas dinner and canceled that. One of them called me back and suggested we go to a buffet for Christmas, so we are going to the buffet at the casino. They have a great buffet so I'm looking forward to that. My father-in-law is doing much better and was released from the hospital on Friday, but they still have to keep a close eye on him.

All in all, it will be a good but not GREAT Christmas.
