Most fun in an FPS?

Well, I felt like having a nice and geeky video game topic in anticipation for the coming corperate holiday :).

Anyway.

What was your most fun experience in an FPS?

As for me, I am ashamed to say that though I am primarily a PC FPS gamer, the most fun I have ever had was on the slight dissapointment of Halo 2.

I don't have a specific situation though, it was just that my friends and I would always meet up and play sword matches in Lockout over freshly delivered pizza. EVERY SINGLE TIME, one of my friends would get really pissed off, because he usually owns everyone, and when he doesn't he throws a hissy fit, and that would usually be the best and scariest part of every game. Yeah... you'd prolly have to have been there.

Probably not the most fun, but something that consistently makes me chuckle....

Anytime a person in any of the FPS i play (cs,cs:s,dod,bf2,others) calls me a "hacker" and is serious. Haha, good times.

I was playing Halo2 with my 6 year old cousin the other day... He wasted me! I was so ashamed! I hardly ever play FPS's but I was playing that with him because he wanted to... it was just sad..

I guess a friend and I played XIII for a few weeks straight (mostly because I have a gamecube, and there aren't many games for it at all) and that was fun, but I don't think the game is very awesome, just the comraderie. I do think Timesplitters is one of the better games of the genre. It's like Goldeneye but faster and with more stuff. That makes it OK in my book.

Getting a headshot is one of the better feelings I have when I'm playing FPS. That and tossing a flag in CTF to a buddy.

I do love playing source, though I'm never called a hacker.. I am occasionally called a n00b. I was at one lan party where that game was getting played. I didn't actually bring a computer, I just tagged along with a friend of mine who went to one. That was probably the most fun I had. I do declare that as far as computer FPS's go, I consider that to be the best.

Me and 4 buddies in Halo 2 were playing 2 on 2 in that big open map. And we were going at eachother in the Warthogs, me and my teammate in the Gauss Hog, and they in whatever they had. And after 25 minutes of total domination in the map by me and my amazing aim with that Gauss gun, 15 of those minutes our warthog was on fire (And it never died), we swapped drivers. It was a great laugh being driven around by the other team shooting at the other team in a truck being driven by my own teammate.

OntheRIGHTside, every group of gamer nerds has one of those guys who thinks he can beat everyone, but throws a fit when he get's beat. It's really funny.

That used to happen to me in TFC, the greatest mod of Half Life EVER. Counterstrike can kiss my ass.

Basically, I'd just own everyone sniping.

Then I stopped playing fps's until a couple months ago, and now I'm breaking out of the suck/decent and in to the average range. lol...

Can't wait for TFC source.

Vehicles. I like vehicles a lot- hence, my love of the Battlefield series. Failing that, I'm a mean machine gunner.

BF2. I like to pilot helicopters, begin to crash them, eject, and laugh at the teammates I killed.
