Does anyone remember the 1978 Star Wars holiday special? Or perhaps you've all repressed the terrible memories. Well, the only way to heal is to confront the abuse in our past, so in the spirit of the season and in the spirit of truth and reconciliation I offer this link.

Fortunately George Lucas has revoked any and all rights to ever show this atrocity again, but the site contains a description of the plot and some photos of the characters.

November of 1978. I wasn't even a year old then, so I guess I was spared. But I don't want to be! I actually want to see this!

Wait..seeing some of the cheesy pictures...maybe not.

I was only three years old going on four when this attrocity was forced upon me and so many other unfortunate American kids. We had to grow up too fast. We were exposed to the horrible truth that Star Wars can suck. That traumatic fact shouldn't have been made known to us until "The Phantom Menace".

They do it all the time in online games.

I am told in FFXI it is "Starlgiht Celebration," in Guild Wars it is "Wintersday."
