I own a couple of books issued by Disinformation. They are You are being lied to and Everything you know is wrong. Both contain essays about politics, drugs, culture, medicine, and major events in recent history by controversial authors. I've found some of the essays in the books to be easily debunkable, but some are well thought out and quite interesting.

Does anyone else have any experience with Disinformation books?

pretty much every book on self help says "to love others you must first love yourself" which is complete BS since its natural (and healthy) to hate some things about yourself also does that mean self centred asses who think the world revolves around them are really romantic and deep

Any book which I buy that has that crap in it always makes good firewood much like the devinci code which is good toilet paper (though the crap inside the book means your using used toilet paper)

I've seen 'Everything you know is wrong' in secondhand book shops before, but never had the money to buy it. It's something I'd probably be interested in, but I have to stop buying books...I have around 20 that I have but I've never read, and I want to read at least half of those before getting any others.

If you get a chance to look through it I'd recommend it. Like I said before, some of the essays in it are easily debunked, but some are pretty interesting. They might make you see things from a slightly different point of view.
