And I feel the need to tell someone.
Seriously, why are they designed to suck so much? They always seem to break after a few months. I just sat down and heard a cracking noise. I can still sit on it, but its wobbling a lot.
Computer chairs suck: discuss.

My computer chair has a tendency to spin. I can just be sitting here and, if I don't have a firm grip on something, I end up doing a few rotations. Yep, that's my biggest complaint. Imagine being in the middle of doing something and before you know it you're facing the other way.

Why do you have your computer on a chair in the first place? :p
Chairs were designed for bums, not computers.

Most of mine are broken. The best ones are ones used for conferences - the type the boss uses.

Whats wrong with you people?
Then again, you sh ould spend more than 100 dollars on a computer chair imo.
Get a nice corperate style one, prefebbly with MicroFiber.
Solid as a rock with a 5 year warrenty at Staples. :)
Yeah, they suck. Luckily the one I am using right now was free.

Ah, but there are no wheels, indeed...

A recliner is an acceptable substitute. Although you'll need a really big screen and a keyboard with a long cable (or preferably none at all..one of them infared or wireless ones) to enjoy it properly. Added bonus if it's one of them vibrating massage recliners.
Ah, maybe one day.... :D

That's rich man talk! You're talking like a rich man! **glares**
I'll just stick with this one where at least one of the wheels falls apart every time I try and move the chair. Fun times!

mine broke... maybe three months ago. it was one that you could lean back and stuff, and when it broke the whole thing just slanted forward like a trap door. so we'd set it up to look normal, and then someone would sit on it and slide right off. so maybe you can use your broken chair plight for entertainment.
when life gives you broken computer chairs, throw them at politicians.

I'm not saying I actually intend to spend money on it. It's just....you know...no use for them once the revolution comes and stuff.....yeah....

We used to have a computer swivel chair and I broke it. Twice. Now we have a big, comfy armchair in front of the computer, which is so much better. :)

You're lucky to have a chair. All I have is a couple of bricks and some cardboard. I wish I had a broken chair.

i figure in 3 years ill get 4 or 5 new chairs for that $10

My grandfather sells computer chairs, so you would think that as his loving granddaughter I would have one of those executive leather hydrolic lumbar support pretty comfy chairs right?
nope. He gave me a blue secretary chair. :( Oh, well it was free, and if it breaks he will just give me a new one. :)
I wanted to buy a new chair, an expensive chair, but that doesn't work into my plan of giving this peice of crap computer to my 4 year old and buying me a new laptop. (not that my computer is that crappy, but my husband got a new laptop so I want one too!)

You aren't spying on me, are you? *looks around nervously* Maybe that's why the cat keeps trying to climb the wall and get up to that vent...
I've got a blue leather recliner (in less than perfect condition, granted, but it's comfy) and a cordless keyboard, but a corded optical mouse I usually keep on my knee so I do have to keep near my box. I have my monitor on a table, not a desk, and my box under it, so there's just space for me to scoot my chair in and use the box as an automatically heating footstool instead of my recliner footrest. Except when I feel lazy and want my footrest up. Then I just use Mozilla and zoom everything bigger so I can read it.
I just don't do computer chairs 'cause they make your butt go to sleep, and your back hurt. Ugh.
My computer chair also broke, so I stole the computer chair form my mom's computer. My old chair was sooo much better. It technically was a recliner, not a computer chair, although it did look very much like a computer chair.

Ha ha. No, but sometimes I like to sit with my legs folded on the chair.

Get a good one on sale for half off (cost about $40.00 to $50.00) and quit getting those cheap pieces of crap. :D Mine has held my 300+ lbs quite well for over a year now. Bought it on sale at Office Depot.

Honestly I think I just need to adjust mine so that it's less likely to spin, but I'm just too lazy.
