OK, the only program I have to transfer files onto my RCA Lyra is Windows Media Player, and now it is throwing exceptions every time I try to lower the bit rate to fit more files onto it because all I have is a crappy 128MB player. Wth is up with this? It doesn't throw the exceptions without resampling and it didn't do it before.

I copy MP3 files directly to little players of various makes using the Windows Explorer (the ordinary place you go to copy files).

Windows should see the player as a hard drive if you're plugged into the USB cable.

I think you missed the part where I said I resample it.

That's usually the problem with what you described. enjoy, TPH. ;)
It's getting hard to keep up with all of them, isn't it?

I downloaded a(nother) huge codec pack and that fixed the problem. Evil codecs. I need to go buy a 1gig player.
