Tough call ... I've seen people get hundreds of dollars in gifts on the one day of Christmas, but get a bunch of crappy useless stuff every night of the 8 for Chanukkah.
From a strictly commercial viewpoint, Christmas wins simply because Chanukkah isn't that important and the gift giving aspect of it is relatively new.
