My Chem teacher introduced the semester with this problem and now that finals are over Ive been going through my stuff and found a paper about this. Can anyone figure it out? Oh and please DONT post the answer to the riddle on here. If you absolutely must prove your intelligence to me then TG me.

We've had this one before. It took me maybe.. 4-5 rolls last time.

Don't worry, I'm pretty certain everything has been talked about here. Repetition is nothing new.

Ok, I just figured it out in, oh, probably less than two minutes. It took me five or so rolls before I was sure I was right.

But it says "the smarter you were, the longer it took to figure it out." I guess I must be a real idiot. :p

Lol. Yea. It took me a good three days before someone pittyed me and told me the answer...

1) looking at the source is hardly hacking
2) like I said I completed it without looking in 2 rolls

It's a load of old toss. Forget the respect you probably have for your teacher, forget maths and think abstractly (what is the rose, what are the petals). When you get it, you may feel like punching him.

I'm supposed to be smart, but I still don't get it!

Took me two hours of constant rolling the first time I saw this before I gave up and went to bed.

Within 3 minutes of thinking about the problem I had the answer.

So the solution is to take a break and just think about it.

Never mind...I finally got it! Curse you, visual thinkers!
