Guilty conscience?

And I've talked about my situation before. Since I'm an attention whore as well as a post whore, I'll make you beg me before I do it again.

Um...here's one for you.

I picked up my 'husband' at a Spanish club, with the intent of having a one-night stand. Nine years later, he still hasn't gone home. In the meantime, I married his cousin (to get him into the country), and then divorced him when he decided he didn't want to live in Canada after all. Of course, I was still with my current spouse too, so I guess I was a bigamist. I'm not going to bother to get married again. Been there, done that.

My father's last name was the same as my grandmother's maiden name. They weren't actually related though. ;)

My mother-in-law is like that...she's a Gonzalez Gonzalez, which means both her father and mother had the same last names (the second Gonzalez is the maiden name of the mother)...but they weren't related either (the mom and dad I mean).

You haven't heard the one about the two simultaneous long-distance relationships, one of which is proper long distance (3000 miles) with a (technically) married woman fifteen years older than me?

Have now.

Heron-Marked Warrior kind of beat me already. :(
One long-distance relationship, going for almost two years now. We met online and met once for two days in all this time, as he is married. The age difference is about the same, too...

My lack of a webcam is the problem there. **crosses fingers for christmas** And the written version is more my thing when done at a distance.

A coworker of mine had an online relationship with someone for i dunno half a year or so. He's the type of guy you can't imagine settling down. Well last year he took a vacation to finally meet her in person and when he got back he announced he was married... heheheh, he had to wait a while for the papers to get her to Canada to go through. The thing is it took a while so even though they were married, they didn't live together for a long time until she finally came here last summer. I thought it was a pretty interesting story.
