How drunk are you going to get?

During these Christmas and other commercial holidays, how drunk are you going to get? Whether you're in America, UK, or some unimportant country that few people care to know about, drinking is a special thing. :)

Not too drunk. I hate getting drunk around my family. However, January 9th, I shall be taking part in the mother of all piss-ups with many medical students.

I don't drink around my kids. Not that I hide that I drink sometimes...I just don't like feeling even slightly 'out of it' around them. In case of an emergency, I don't want to screw up just because I've been drinking.

Im going to stay sober as always I'm teetotal. Or maybe I'll just drink myself into oblivion thinking of my sign language teacher....

Heroically.

I say heroically because my family always buys too much alcohol and it just sits there year after year (and they buy the same amount each year). But not this year! I will save the shed from being filled...again!!

If you want, you can bring it to Leicester on January 9th, and take part in the piss-up...means you don't have to drink quite so much before then, and the shed won't get filled.

Well...

Allow me to word it as such... I will gain about 20 lbs. from the carbs from all Guinness that I'm going to drink. Then, I'll burn it off with some help from my friends the Cap'n, Jimmy Beam, Senor Cuervo, and Mr. Belvedere (which is superior to Grey Goose). And then on new years I'll top it off with some Czech Absinthe and a good bong rip...

Who said conservatives (more so classical liberals) are too uptight and don't have fun?

drinking really isn't a big thing in my family at Christmas, it could be since most of us are recovering from alchohol or drug addictions (or both)

I think though that my husband and I may drink a bottle of wine on New Years Eve, although I doubt that either of us "get drunk".

I wish I was back in Melbourne. No doubt there would be great amounts of drunkenness there. Also there's no driving, no parents and more pubs.

May get a bit tipsy, judging from the fact that my mum cracked a bottle of wine at 3pm this afternoon...
