On a Darwinian level irresponsibilty is being selected for in the UK..
With extensive benefits and housing provided, some young women (teenage girls in fact) see single mum-hood as a definite career option. With no consequences arising, many blokes are sowing their wild oats around housing estates within a confined environment. Thus the more irresponsible the Dad, the more irresponsible the spawn which are created without a stable, social-moral environment, hence more irresponsible benefit dependent (and criminogenic) progeny.I see this every working day. 14 year old girls state that getting pregnant will get them their own place and some benefit
