Sikhism

An interesting religion that has some roots in Hinduism and Islam. If ever saw a chap whose last name was Singh or had a beard and a turban, they were very likely a Sikh. After 9/11 the stereotype Muslim was confused with Sikhs and many Sikhs were beat up and even murdered. Not many Muslims even wear turbans, more likely one of those towel-like things that the Saudis wear.* Any Sikhs here?

EDIT: *IT is called a kaffiyeh.

Great page (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/news/lifestyles/links/turbans_27.html) for turban info.

Yep ... it's a cozy for the head. I especially like the Palestinian design.

From what I know about the religion is that I if I had to pick a religion to follow then it'd probably be Sikhism. The whole treating the holy book as the final prophet... meh... I'm warming to the idea. It's nice and eccentric.
