I am just sick of people who arent Chrisitan or Pagan namely other religeons using it as an excuse to give and receive presents.
Then there is the whole commercialisation of it.

After years of that the christmas spirit has come to mean yelling at people in the parking lot, sniping at people in the aisles, being rude to the clerks at the stores-becoming more abusive if they don't know your children better than you do, etc.
But the lights look cool.

I didn't get the christmas anticipation this year! :(
And all I wished for was Civ IV, an external hard-drive(which arrives in March or something) and underpants. And I'll be celebrating with my gramps with my mother's family. It's an old tradition.

I'm goin home to philly going to see the family, friends, get some good food etc.
Also excited im gonna see my cat. I know it sounds silly but he's 15 and has a thyroid and kidney problems. :( He's been on all kinds of meds and his weight has been fluxuating. He's also older than most my cousins.

ok lots of people in here hate christmas... yay to you too!! i may not like it but an excuse to have presents you dont want, spend time with loved ones and wait under the misteltoe is well worth the year long wait... i will be where i am now for christmas in a half demolished house (literally)

Are you sure you're not me 5 years ago? So sorry about your cat. Be sure to hug him a lot. My kitty died after a few years of that a while back. He was 19 when he died, though, so maybe it's really just old age. They can get medicine for the thyroid, but it's hard to adjust, and keep right.

I'll be with my in-laws after the Christmas eve service to open presents. And again after the morning service for their "Christmas brunch". And I'll be going down to my aunt's house Monday and see my brother, who I haven't seen in a few years again, and a bunch of cousins, all of whom I've seen more recently than my brother, and my grandmother, who at 97 I'd like to see as much as I can! And specially to let her see her only great-granddaughter a few more times.
