I just got back from my Crhistmas staff part and I'm a little tipsy. It was a lot more interesting than I thought it'd be. I'd like to hear about other people's staff Christmas parties, past and present, and future, if you have the ability.

I've never been to one. I act crazy on a regular basis, and what's the fun in a bunch of people acting like poor imitations of the real deal?

We played stupid games and drank... that's about it... and yet, I still had a good time

Well, last year my "company" (ie dorm floor) had a "staff party" (though at a satellite location). There was a Christmas tree (we later discovered it was actually just a tree they happened to keep in their house year-round....which was weird), there were drinks, there were other substances, there was loud music (pretty crappy), and there were tons upon tons of party games. Of course, I had been at a REAL company party just beforehand, which had been platitudinous and incredibly wearisome and thrown in our office. I had won a full set of Richard Simmons work-out tapes at the white elephant gift exchange....which was a let-down, because I don't even bother with the archaic possession of a VCR.
Still can't wait for the party this weekend, though....new company, new city, new pants....should be cool.
