Now...I need some advice. My family has been whining lately about not having any recent pictures of your's truely. Since it's christmas time, they have decided for me that now is the time. The ultimate question put before me is: goatee or clean shaven?

The clean-shaven look is far better for you -all the proof you need: do you have a pretty girl next to you in the other one?

Same here. Though I suggest a little more than just a "chin guard" goatee. Let a little hair grow up an inch or so, particularly on the sides. At least that's what I do; I think it makes my chin look better, but that's personal preference.

The way I see it is you wanted us to go for clean shaven by providing eye candy... Even if it was eye candy...

I asked my previous girlfriend something along the same lings, just not picture or Christmas. She said something like "Facial hair makes guys look older and clean shaven makes them look like they belong in Middle School. If we wanted to date Middle schoolers we would have become teachers and drive our little brothers/sisters to school more."

I'm gonna have to say it doesn't matter... it depends on what you're going for. Tthe goatee makes you look older, so if your parents tend to treat you like a kid and you want more repsect, you might go with that, but if you want to ask for money, go with none.

And personally, I think the chin fuzz goatees look stupid anyway. If you're gonna grow facial fur, grow facial fur for real.

Yes well, a full beard ought to be reserved for people over 40 who want to look even older and scruffier. But you could go with a moustache and front-of-chin goatee if you can grow it. Or just a whole chin-tip thing... not just the bottom. And go for more than 1/8 inch.

Oh god no. I'm not going to post any picture of it, for in doing so I'd destroy any sense of pride I have, but I had some horrible hair throughout junior high.

I got the "grow your hair long" bug before it was the big fad that it is now, or was a year or so ago, and so I got it almost down to my shoulders, before realizing that I do not, in any way, shape, or form, have the hair for it. My hair is kind of coarse but very thick, and while I know I'm not going to go bald, I also know that long hair just isn't for me.

Bigger as in longer or bigger as in taking up more area? I can make the sides come up or have it cover the whole chin or whatnot (I guess theoretically I could grow a full beard) but I really wouldn't want the hair itself to get much longer. I hate long beards and goatees.

What is your reasoning for choosing the option in which you did? Do you just like clean-shaven guys or bearded guys in general? Does it fit my face better? Do you simply want to "bang" me? Lol.

Goatees are badass. But being cleanshaven is alright too. In the end, its up to you and how much work you want to do every morning at the sink. Personally I prefer being cleanshaven.

Lol.My reasoning is as follows: 1) The goatee isn't big enough to have a dramatic effect on the way you look. It merely looks like a silly little caterpillar. mmk, I voted for goatee, it wasn't for any particular reason other than I thought it looked better... and I'm not biased toward guys with goatee's either, infact before looking at the pictures I was quite determined to vote clean shaven...

goatee definatly defines your jaw alot...I shaved mine off (and I have a similar jaw line) and was like...wow. where'd my chin go?

A holiday bump. Saturday I take the picture...should I shave or not?

Well I took the picture with a goatee, but then shaved a few days after. When I get the picture back I should be able to post it up.

Go for the goatee but grow it higher up on your chin, just below where the rise from your lower lip meets your chin. Try to keep it trimmed but full.

To be honest you look like a kid clean shaven... I had the exact same problem in my late teens and early twenties.

I only saw one picture of you. But if that chic ever grows a goatee she will still be better looking than you.;)
