Sarah Zapolsky was checking in for a flight to Italy when she discovered that her 9-month-old son's name was on the United States' "no fly" list of suspected terrorists.

"We pointed down to the stroller, and he sat there and gurgled," Zapolsky said, recalling the July incident at Dulles International Airport outside Washington, D.C. "The desk agent started laughing...She couldn't print us out a boarding pass because he's on the no-fly list."

That might be difficult, with tens of thousands of names on the list, and it being secret at that.

And obviously they can tell you if a specific name is on the list, at least if it's your name, or your childs.

This is exactly the kind of silliness that needs to happen. Something SO absurd, that even the knuckleheads in power take notice, and begin considering whether this law is necessary or not.

Yeah there are appeal methods but to even get on the list to appeal is somehow harder to get on the do not fly list :p
