Survivors (1975): Survivors is a 38-episode drama series about the aftermath of a virulent plague that has wiped out 95% of the Earth's population. The drama centres around the fortunes of a group of survivors in England, principally Abby Grant, Jenny Richards, Greg Preston and Charles Vaughan.

Sapphire & Steel (1979): All irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension. Transuranic heavy elements may not be used where there is life. Medium atomic weights are available: Gold, Lead, Copper, Jet, Diamond, Radium, Sapphire, Silver and Steel. Sapphire and Steel have been assigned.

Blake's 7 (1979): This memorable and imaginative series from the mind of Terry Nation (famous for creating the Daleks on Doctor Who). It chronicled the adventures of a small group of freedom fighters trying to escape the tyranny of the Federation.

I remember Blake's 7. Well, remember is a relative term...I'm not British so I didn't watch it in 1979 but I have run across it.

Survivors (1975)...

Sapphire & Steel (1979)...

Blake's 7 (1979)...No, yes, yes.

As a Brit born in the early seventies, that might not be too surprising, but in actual fact I didn't actually see B's7 from the start (obviously being a bit young when it started) and so the early episodes of same and all of S&S (which had a much shorter run, IIRC) actually came to my attention courtesy of the Uni SF&F society...
