And your response in turn saddens me. What *I* would like is Christmas to become a feast for everyone, regardless of religon. But by adding aspects to it, not by stripping them away... When the Christians took it over they after all also allowed the Pagan tree, feast, present sharing and so on to continue being a part of the celebrations, even though those things had nothing to do with Christ...

So IMO:
"happy holidays because it should be all-inclusive" = good.
"happy holidays because it should not be Christian in any way" = bad.

Not Christianity per se. Understand that it is in fact religion in general that liberals despise, due to the fact that religion=value judgements, a big no-no to them. If they lived in an Islamic country they would celebrate every time a Happy Eid banner was taken down.
