Performance
Handling
Interior room
Gas Mileage
Styling (this one doesn't really matter, but I'm including it for the sake of inclusion)

Also, has anyone had any experiences with either?

Thats a random comparison, they're entirely different cars with entirely different goals. If you want one you're not likely in the market for the other. And why is it the new Mustang against the old Boxster?

A used Boxster costs as much as a new Mustang, and I love them both. Not totally random...
