Would you vote for Jesse "The Body" Ventura for President in 2008?

After having Arnold as my Governor, having some lame wrestler show off his body and use that for his campaign is just pathetic.

Well, you already had an actor as president, so why not? :D

You could've had Gary Coleman, but NOOOOOO! I was so disappointed. :(

Have you seen what Jesse looks like lately? Like 300 pounds of compressed spam in a tight suit. Showing that off would not garner him that many votes I'd wager.

The manchild makes enough money everytime that Factory Cash Direct (or whatever) commercial comes on. He's taken over my T.V. and that's already too much power to this guy.

I have no idea what he believes in, what he stands for, what his platform is, or even what his broad political leanings are. So, I would have to say I dont know. If I like his views more than I like the views of his opponents, then sure why not? I dont care that he was a wrestler in the past, he couldve been a clown in the past for all I care, its irrelevant.

Check out the Wikipedia entry on him. It seems relatively solid in it's facts, both good and bad.

I'd be unlikely to vote for him unless the two major parties ran candidates who I liked even less. Let's say, Tom DeLay on the Republican side, and Al Sharpton on the Democratic side - Ventura would start to look pretty good.

And Arnold could run for Vice President with him, and then Jesse could appoint the rest of the cast of Predator to cabinet positions. Carl Weathers for Secretary of State, Bill Duke for Defense, Sonny Landham for Attorney General, and so on.

Brown-noser!
You're just trying to get on LG's good side, aren't you?

Well, it's pointless. You may think you're on his good side, but beware! He's got a cattle prod hidden under his coat.

Provided that Kevin Hall, in the whole Predator costume, is appointed as ambassador to the UN, we might have a plan.

Ya know, why not? Ventura did a mediocre job in Minnesota, he has a good military record, and his political stances aren't too extreme. Also, who wouldn't want to see the State of the Nation address given in spitting redfaced wrestler schtick? C'mon, think of it now. Hulk Hogan as the Secretary of Education. Body slams instead of sanctions. Steel chairs in the UN. Vince McMahon as vice president deciding that all Senatorial ties be decided by a cage match between the respective party leaders! Two ideologies go in, ony one comes out! We could close the budget gap with PPV receipts alone. Ok...so maybe its a bad idea...

Bill Richardson, Hillary Clinton, or Rod Blagojevich v. Condoleeza Rice, Alberto Gonzalez, or Bill Frist.

I like it.

BTW, Japan is pretty close to that already - Antonio Inoki, Hiroshi Hase and Atsushi Onita were all elected to the national Diet (legislature). And The Great Sasuke was elected to the Iwate prefectual assembly partly on a platform that included his wearing his mask during assembly sessions.

Attention my fellow US citizens. There exists a great pro-wrester-politician gap between the United states and Japan. You must elect more pro-wrestlers befor e we fall behind in this great race.

I will vote for whichever candidate I see as best for the United States, even if that candidate is not a member of my Party, the Republicans.

I care more for my country than I do for my Party.

That's hyperbolic, at best. Who do yo have to vote for in your state, and why does he make you want to stay in the country (planet)?
You get a Stewart smack for that kind of rediculous sensationalism.
