This December 25th marks the 56th anniversary of Sissy Spacek's birth. I have yet to enter a Staple, Target, KMart, Home Depot, Roy Rogers, etc, and be wished a Happy Sissymas. True, until recent times (roughly three days ago) Sissymas was traditionally celebrated only with Her (Sissy's) close friends and relatives. But now, her saintless and never decaying beauty have shown her true worth as a Saint of the highest caliber and respect.

I know what you're up to America. When I say, "Happy Sissymas" I'm responded to variously with, "Happy Holidays", "Merry Christmas" or "What the hell did you just call me?" Just because my celebration is new and is not to be confused with Festivus (we celebrate with a Sissy Bar) doesn't mean I shouldn't be given the same respect during my own, new National Holiday (Letters to the Senate are currently being written (that is where I send letters to for National Holidays, right?))
