This is a long shot but i'm gonna ask anyway. I just got my placement documents to say where i'll be doing my nursing placement in February but when i went to look at the ward it just said 'Fraser Gamble Ward' and not what kind of ward that was and I'm having trouble finding out so a cookie and a fluffle for the first person to find out for me

lol, well they told my friend she was working on the renal ward so i doubt it, plus i'm stuck with it anyway whether i like it or not

I would recommend being honest about it and apologising for wasting their time with a trivial question, because it really is a simple inquiry that takes two seconds to address.

Fraser gamble is an award, it says here that it is given to nurses that have madea very good contribution, but otherwise i would say it is most likely a child care ward of some sort, but no gurantees sorry i cant be more useful. :(

On the other hand, you can live with the knowledge that you're making their last days as comfortable as possible for them. If you weren't helping them, many of them would have nobody and die lonely and forgotten about. At least you're making a difference.

Well, if you're doin it right you don't. If you do it wrong, you spill it all down your chin, neck and hand whilst still burning. As my friend did last month. It was most amusing till he had to go to hospital:(
