Do you have any regrets?

Anything you feel you should have done, but haven't? Or things you shouldn't have done, but have?
Qualifications you didn't get, people you didn't contact, changes you didn't make?
Or people you did contact and changes you didn't make?

No ... everything I have done was the best I could do...
Anything you feel you should have done, but haven't? Or things you shouldn't have done, but have?
Qualifications you didn't get, people you didn't contact, changes you didn't make?
Or people you did contact and changes you didn't make?
There are things I should have done, but didn't...
There are things I shouldn't have done, but did...
But I don't "regret" any of it...I am happy living in the life that has resulted from my own choices...some of the memories may be bittersweet (or just bitter), but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

this is what i even think...things come & things go.
But mostly the person who open a thread has a kind of interest in something , that is his/her own mind..
So tell us Cabra :
"Is there something you regret???"
Yes, not resolving a disagreement with a friend and then loosing the oppertunity to forever. That's the only thing I truely regret. But then I guess I did learn from it...
I have quite a few...
Not sure if I want to elaborate, though.

I can't give a yes or no answer, to be honest.
On good days, I consider every bad decision and consequent bad experience a lesson learned.
The fundamental regret I have from time to time is having been born in the first place...

Well, at least you can blame your parents for that one :D

i think probably working harder at school would be one
not taking (so many) drugs at uni would be another
keeping up with my swimming (used to swim for the county woot) and not turning into a lardass would be a third...
and then a few isolated incidents that i'd rather not mention :headbang:
there's probably a whole lot more lol but that'll do for now

Of course I do. I think almost everyone has some regrets.

Hell, if you don't have regrets, you aren't living.
You always have to make choices. Sometimes the choice is between two things that you'd really like to do, but you only have the time or resources to pursue one of them. Even if you feel you've made the correct choice, you'll still regret not being able to pursue the other path also.
Now, having philosophized enough for now, I'll actually answer the question. Of course I have regrets. I have lots of them. However, the choices I have made, good and bad, have made me the person I am now. Who knows who or what I'd be if I'd made radically different choices when I was younger? I certainly don't. So, here I am, regrets and all.
But it must be said that I regret far more the things I didn't do than the things I actually did.

Well son, a funny thing about regret is, that it's better to regret something you have done, than to regret something you haven't done. By the way, if you see your mom this weekend, would you be sure and tell her SATAN SATAN SATAN SATAN SATAN SATAN SATAN SATAN.

I'm guessing you'd need a conscience to have regrets?

Sociopaths(those without a conscience) may have regrets about missed opportunities for personal gain. They also might regret being in prison if that is where they are.

There are some old friends I wish I'd kept in touch with, and a lot of pointles, spur-of-the-moment lies that aren't exactly bad but made my life awkward that I'd take back if I could.

If you live your life, you're going to have to make some choices along the way... Some will be bad.
Yeah, I've got regrets, but I'd have a much larger regret if I'd lived the kind of life where I'd had no chances to have those regrets, if you get what I mean. I don't have any outright disasters in my history, but yeah, I've made a few calls I could have made better.
On the whole, though? Not bad... Not bad at all.

There's things I would probably do differently if I were given the chance to relive the situations, but 'regret' would be a strong word. The choices we make and our past actions make us the people we are today and in my case I'm happy enough with that. Besides, regret as an emotion is so destructive and, in a lot of cases, self-centred. Unless you've done something genuinely harmful, there's little to learn from it and therefore no real point.

I think I have made some pretty bad mistakes, and have had to deal with the consequences of them. Sometimes I think what life would be like if I could go back and change what I did, but I always come to the same conclusion that things wouldn't be like they are now, and I would be a completely different person.
So, since I like my life now, and I think I am pretty cool..........nope, no regrets.

I regret everything. The problem with life is that while there's an A, B, C, and D, there's no E: All of the above.
