USC. Texas doesn't stand a chance.
Seriously. Texas had the wonderful luck of playing shitty teams the entire season. And when they actually did play a decent team (Ohio State), they almost lost.

Well I Hate USC (only since 1974)
and I live in Austin Texas
so I'll be rooting for the Longhorns.
Far Out...
Now if we could only get out of this stupid war...

Most of those weren't close in the end of it all. Notre Dame's had a much better team than Ohio State this year, so...

ND got beaten by Michigan State. That's sad.

Michigan State's always been a come-from-behind team. I kind of expected it, really.

Bullshit. Michigan State was leading the whole way. They ate NDs defense for breakfast.
Michigan State hasen't won a meaningful game sinse the Hoover administration.

Current USC student here and going to the rose bowl. USC will win and there is nothing anyone can do about it . We are already 1 up on Texas with the Heisman. So there SC wins.

Oh, so "come from behind" can't mean an unexpected, outright victory against a better team?
Or are you just being a dick over the race riots argument, hmm?

Well, I'm a dick naturally, but that's besides the point...
Weeeeeel, come from behind normally means you have to be behind first.

The better defense always wins championships and I don't care what you say--Texas has one of the greatest defenses in the nation. Put what you consider "luck" aside and just take a look at the statistics and the athletic ability of the defensive line.
USC is going to fail.

USC has Reggie Bush.

Yeah, they said that last year, too. Funniest shit ever.

Texas has Vince Young. Reggie Bush is a talented quarterback, no doubt... but when he fucks things up, everyone just shrugs and says that's how a future pro looks when he's losing but when Young has a bad game, it's the end of the world.
Face it, you're just brainwashed by ESPN and other sports talk garbage. It's all a bunch of propaganda. Texas wins, you'll see.

We'll see about that in the Fiesta bowl. OSU's still got some superb linebackers, and Carpenter will most likely be able to play. Troy Smith seems to have found his groove and Gonzalez is also doing a very good job. I suspect if we hadn't of played the quarterback switch the entire game against Texas, OSU would have won (Justin Zwick : Fumble as Me : Sleep).

Last time I checked, Reggie Bush was a Halfback. Although he probably could play quarterback pretty well.
I've seen Reggie Bush. I am a college football nut. Vince Young is an excellent quarterback, but Reggie Bush is God.

Reggie Bush is a Halfback. Halfbacks really can't make horrible decisions that will ruin a game like Quarterbacks can.
Reggie Bush, Quarterback? Seriously... Even when he does play the position on trick plays, he does a damn good job of it.

I do say that USC wins, though. As much as it pains me to say it, they are the best team in the country, hands down. Reggie Bush is superb, Matt Leinart is the best QB in the country, and they're playing in their own city. Texas is going to have to do a whole hell of a lot to overcome USC.
And beyond that, Vince Young was on the cover of SI a couple of weeks back, and that's the curse.

Well, yes... sorry about that, I had Vince Young on my mind and typed quarterback instead.
And as I said, I am not denying Reggie Bush's talent... I just don't think that USC' offense can keep itself together.

#1 Scoring offense in the nation (I think).
Besides, they've been in this position before. USC has more Experience, mor Talent, and better Coaching. All adds up to a win in my book.

Texas scores .9 more points per game. USC gains 80 more yards per game.

USC is going to win by at least 14. That's my prediction.
