Did anybody see this movie, I would expect some of you have judging by its cash intake. Was it how you thought it would be, did you like it/hate it? How close did you think it was to the book.

I'm still unsure of it. Something about it didn't really sit right with me. It could be the portrayal of the children and the flow of how they changed personallity-wise was less than smooth.

gotta see it again to pinpoint what I didn't like about it.

Me and Philosophy Club are going to see it this weekend. Sure it's just a poinless religious argument waiting to happen, but we're all suckers for talking animals and CG animation.

If you are into talking animals, then youll like it. The religous symbolism did not run rampant, but it is there.

Well, it wasnt a perfect. I sat through it and enjoyed it, but like are paradise friend said, there was somethign wrong with it that i couldnt pinpoint. Maybe it was the fact that the theater which holds 500 something seats had been sold out by 8 yr olds who talked through the whole thing.

I went to a late night, underpopulated showing of Narnia, and as such the theater was not crowded with the screaming brats of crazed parents. I was impressed with parts, and other parts just didn't cut it. The kids actually did a good job of acting. I typically hate kid-centric movies (Star Wars Ep. 1, Home Alone, the rest of 'em all) but this didn't make me hate it. It was enjoyable.

Personally, I believe they got the absolute best person to play Lucy. She acted well and was cute, but not too cute.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm intending on it although the previews didn't look fantastic.

I really liked the old voice for Aslan, the new one seems a bit more weak... and it doesn't look like it stays entirely true to the book...:(

Ah well, I'll probably like it anyway...
