I dunno.. the whole thing being on the opposite side of the world makes it kinda hard to get upset over or feel unsafe about.. but I guess if I were there and didn't feel like participating, I'd be a bit perturbed. :(

It appears that racism is just under the surface and it doesn't take much to set off the frustration and anger. IMHO.At least in this case anyways.

whites are not safe either. retaliation is happening Marubra and other Sydney beaches against innocent people. some 50 year old woman went to see if her elderly neighbours were alright and got beaten in the head with a baseball bat. caucasians and innocent people who are or look middle eastern are all in danger.
