Is it a house, apartment, villa etc.

I live in a medium sized house.

Modest digs on the side of a mountain near a beach, surrounded by redwoods on a stretch of amazing road that hooks up to a legendary stretch of road.

My life has it's moments.

4 bedroom, detached, medium sized house

nice location: college lawn on one side, their tennis courts on another, and a big ol' park on another side again :)

bit of a tip tho: been "doing it up" for 10 years and we still have no wallpaper on most of the walls and mostly bare floorboards/no carpet, but meh... i don't care

I guess I live in a large house. I have some acreage but one horse doesn't exactly qualify as a farm.

Plenty of room, and Hullepupp knows that :p

And if he keeps being nasty, he'll have to share the room with the cat.

Technically a duplex. Two Japanese style rooms, a bath, toilet room, and an fairly large kitchen (for Japan). About as big as my apartment back home in other words. ;)

Though with no insulation, central heating, and double glazing (plus Nagano winter) it FEELS like a tent right now.

Dorm Room.

12 * 16 box with a roommate. And 364 other people in the building. A little cramped in my opinion. On the other hand, it is a very social hall and my girlfriend lives two floors below me so visiting is easy.

I gots two houses, and a lodge that I share with other members.

1st House, built 1960's:
1 story ranch house, 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, and one 1/2 bath. All of the rooms are approximately 11x12, give or take a little. There are two fireplaces, one upstairs, one downstairs. We have grey carpet through out the house, and the electricity, plumbing, insulation, and woodwork hasn't been touched since the sixites. There is a basement, with a washer and dryer. The lot size is quite large, mostly fenced, with out door heated, underground pool. Attached garage. Living here, while working on the next.

2nd House, built latter 19th Century, with various additions:
This house has many small bedrooms, some of which I'm not sure are even up to code. When we bought this, it had nob and tube electrical wiring, dangerous stuff, and with copper pipes. Anyhow, about 3 bedrooms now after knocking out some walls (what fun that), the floors are level now, the eletical updated to 2005 Michigan code, and we even put in insulation. It looks big, but this two story beast with a basement isn't all that roomy, once we get all of the modern day American conviences in there. Will live here soon.

Lodge, built late 1940's:
This awesome building is located on a clay peninsula in the forests of Michigan, and is two stories with a crawl space. Unlike most cabin get aways, its got electical and plumbing, and we even have cabel, if you're not into nature. 4 bed, 1 full bath, 1 half bath, giant room where kitchen, dining, and living rooms are. One big fireplace. My favorite!

I have a medium sized ranch close to the ocean. Its on a corner lot, so I have only one neighbor. No one can build on the land behind me, so its pretty private. We have a pool with a huge deck that we spend a lot of time on in the warmer months. And there is a fireplace I have going right now, which burns continuously, throughout the winter, when we're home.

I have a nice, small studio-ish apartment "down town" in one of the larger cities here. I quite like it.

I'm in the second room of a medium-sized apartment, I suppose, with one other roomate. It's in a nice neighborhood with plenty of my student friends living at least five minutes away.

I've got a rather small apartment by standards here, but when I lived in Germany this would have been a medium-ish apartment.

I live in a nice 2/1 apartment about a mile from the beach--easy biking distance. Anything larger is way out of my price range here.

i live in a small house on the rio grande in new mexico.

i live in the bosque, the cottonwood forest that grows along the river.

3 miles from town, its so remote that i dont even have a post office address and i had to invent an address in order to get a telephone (which comes on a wire looped from fencepost to fencepost 1/2 mile from the gravel road to my house)

I live in a room. It has everything I need. Blank walls, cos i paint over them after what i paint on them gets boring, a window (those paint fumes are lethal) my computers, my bed, my wardrobe, a microwave and a fridge freezer. The toilet is right opposite my door and the outside door is just to the right. I don't think I've been upstairs for like 6 months.

Currently I'm living in a medium appartment in Vilnius. When summer begins I move to a small mansion in countryside, in surroundings of woods and lakes. Then the real life begins:) Unfortunately, summer lasts only three months:(

I chose medium sized because it's about medium for the area I live in. In relation to other areas it may be rather big though.

It's a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath, with a 2 car garage.

I remember someone telling me once that in some other countries a house has only 2 rooms the bathroom and the living/bed/kitchen room, so in comparison my 1700 square foot house is rather large. ;)

That really sounds fantastic. If I could leave the ocean, it might be for somewhere in the southwest. I spent some time in Sedona,Az and loved it.

I spent almost 2 years in Tucson, Az. I think if I ever get a chance I am moving back (although I would probably end up in Sonoma) The southwest is so much prettier than where I am now, it's so flat here, flat and full of cows :(

Nothing much house, small town, in the garden of England.

That's nice, but what's really nice is sitting here, mildly drunk, listening to The Streets, happy in the knowledge that my partner, who happens to be my wife, has made me fall in love with her all over again tonight.
