Actually, each one I've read so far was set in New York City, that's why I said "my newest", wasn't that obvious? :p

The first of his books I read was "The Chosen", then "The Promise". Loved them. Then, on an Amsterdam flea market recently, I found "In the Beginning" (which is the one mentioned above, and I actually finished it last night, so I was kind of lying a bit there) and "The Book of Lights", which will be the next one up.
I'm constantly amazed at just how brilliant a writer he is. Definitely one of my favorite authors.
