There were ten German bombers in the sky,
There were ten German bombers in the sky,
There were ten German bombers, ten German bombers,
Ten German bombers in the sky.
Then the RAF from England shot one down,
The RAF from England shot one down,
The RAF from England, the RAF from England,
The RAF from England shot one down.
There were nine German bombers in the sky......
(etc etc ad nauseam)
This blog entry (http://www.upsaid.com/eurotrash/index.php?action=viewcom&id=349) from an American calling himself "Eurotrash" is interesting (careful, may contain language some may find offensive...;) ). He visited a football game England vs Colombia, and he didn't have a good time.
Are football fans really as bad as their reputation? Is hoologanism really such an issue?
I've only been to three games in my life (two HSV vs Eintract Frankfurt...I used to be an Andi Köpke fan, and one Pauli vs someone else I can't remember).
While there was a lot of noise, and alcohol consumption, I didn't see any fighting or the like.
And by the way, the English coach asked fans not to sing that bomber-song (http://www.spiegel.de/video/0,4916,9557,00.html) (it's a traditional part of the English fan's repertoire) at the world cup.
And another thing, that issue with a group of Cottbus fans holding up an apparently anti-semitic banner at a game (as first mentioned in this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=458186) thread) is now under investigation by the police.
