I just read this story (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/palmbeach/sfl-cpbullet10dec10,0,7496754.story?coll=sfla-news-palm) about a 16 year-old who shot himself in the abdomen with a bullet (no gun, just the bullet) by hitting it with a hammer.
OK, kinda dumb, but most people don't realize that bullets are weapons in themselves, the gun is just a way to launch them.
What interests me is the cop who was interviewed about the incident. Re: getting shot in the abdomen Sgt. Dan Boland said."There's a bunch of vital organs in there." You know, it's rare that such a big bite of stupid is concentrated into such a little sentence. It actually hurts to swallow it. It's like trying to ingest a jawbreaker through your ear.
Probably not much fodder for discussion here. I just had to share, and at 1:25 in the morning, this was the easiest place to do it.
