Mice?

I got inspired by TNM's GFX card thread, because I just happen to be on the lookout for a new mouse. So...

Who has the greatest mouse in the universe? Which ones suck?

Here's my requirements:Money isn't a concern, but I seriously doubt I'd be willing to pay more than £50 for a mouse. Not unless it gives blowjobs & serve brunch.

I can't live without a wheel & a double-click button.

The mouse must be sturdy & reliable. I don't want to buy another mouse the next 5 years.

And finally, it must be an USB mouse. I broke the PS2 port somehow.
Other than that, I have no preferences. I'd be grateful for opinions, links, anecdotes, pics & whatever else you want to contribute.

Cheers all! :)

*Bump*

Ack! C'mon people! I know some of you geeks have some nifty mice, or secretly drool over weird mice pics on odd sites when your lovers aren't looking. Help me out here, I really could use some suggestions.

I used to have a really nice big two-button trackball type mouse a while ago. Now, all the trackball type mice I can find have got this little tiny ball off on the side with about 10 zillion too many buttons. Stupid carpel tunnel wrecking pieces of junk.

So I got this instead:

Basic three button/scroll wheel USB optical mouse. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Plus I get to enjoy the irony of working in Linux with my Microsoft brand mouse and keyboard. :D

I use that same mouse at school, on our Macs.

I reconmend a Logitec mouse. I find them to be a bit more comfortable than Microsoft mice.

Which one though? The one mouse I really liked was a MouseMan Wheel (Logitec), but that was a PS2 thing. And I somehow doubt I can even find one again.

Right now I'm looking at another Logitec mouse, MX500 (http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-11966-1737-x-x-x). It's optical, wireless & comes with a recharging gizmo. I like the idea of the latter, because otherwise I'll have to get a battery recharger & that seems like overkill when it's just for recharging mouse batteries.

Any more suggestions? Any of you have an "Ultimate Dream Mouse"?

I got impatient & bought a Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse. Looks lovely, and I read rumours that this thing actually do make brunch & gives head.
